Biking tours are not designed as a stiff sporting challenge but as a gentle itinerary taking you to the heart of the land – its vineyards, its little-known landscapes and sleepy country villages, its town steeped in art and history.

Itinerary No. II
„Canal de Bourgogne”, total length 212 km
from Migennes to Dijon

Unforgettable track along famous Canal de Bourgogne, one of „miracles” of France. Total length was divided into sections of 20 – 40 km each.
The Itinerary leads through a number of medieval castles and other monuments like for example:

Château Fort de Marigny le Cahouet, la Collegiale St Thibault, le Château d’Eguilly, les Voutes de Pouilly (in here, the canal goes underground for over 3,5 km), Château de Châteauneuf, Château de Commarin, Cictercian Abbey in Fontenay, as well as ages old, complicated water engineering systems.

Final decision, which section of the itinerary is the most interesting, may always be done in a very last moment, in Burgundy.

We recommend the section from Pouilly-en-Auxois to Pont-de-Pany (39 km) or to Dijon (57 km)

NOTE: Access to the banks of all Canals in Burgundy is limited to pedestrians, bikes etc and is strictly prohibited to any cars and motorcycles.

Itinerary No. III
“Southern Burgundy vineyards” total length 65 km
from Charnay-les-Macon to Givry.

Many believe, that southern part of Burgundy (Cote Chalonnaise) is its most beautiful portion.

Our proposal: from famous Benedictin Cluny Abbey, passing Taizé, Cormatin (rennaissance chateau), Malay, Buxy and Givry. Total 44 km.

In Buxy unforgettable experience of wine tasting in a pre-historical liar, which at present serves to its owners (winemakers) as a wine cellar.
